Off topic jury discussion . . . Our jury system in Aust is very similar to the US. I've been called up for jury duty four times - yes four. I really wanted to do it too but each and every time, as soon as I entered the room, they challenged me. (In Aust they say "challenge" if they don't want you).

By the third time I became slightly paranoid that the way I dressed or walked was off putting somehow. My sister, who is a barrister, finally explained to me one day to not write down the fact that I had 2 degrees on the personal particulars form. She said regardless of what I looked like, they would have been ready to strike me before I even entered the room. So it makes you wonder about the whole concept of "12 of your peers" if they only want morons. 

BTW - what is happening with the jury in this case? Are they still deliberating and what do people think is the expected outcome?
